Typical division of life cycle costs
The use of energy efficient pumps has enormous cost saving potential and also importantly contributes to the reduction in emissions of climate damaging CO2 gas.

 
 
 

The economic efficiency of a pump is defined by the amount of energy it consumes. The diagram above indicates a typical division of costs of a high pressure pump over its’ life cycle.

The largest portion of the costs is clearly attributable to energy consumption whereas the investment cost at 19% is relatively low.
